Maria Bello Alert: Appearing in Conshohocken Tonight

Actress and local gal Maria Bello will be in Conshy tonight hosting a fundraiser for her non-profit We Advance, which advocates for women’s rights issues in developing countries. It’s going down from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. tonight at the Great American Pub, which–fun fact–was owned by Bello’s grandpappy way back when it was the Brown Derby. Tickets are $50 to $80, based on whether or not you’re flying solo. Born in Norristown (was she friends with Mike Piazza?), Bello attended Villanova University, and was great in A History of Violence. [Patch]
