Route Set For Rebuilt Manayunk Bike Race

We now have some details on the Parx Casino Philly Cycling Classic, the brand-new Manayunk professional bike race that replaces the old professional bike race in Manayunk that nearly disappeared earlier this year. Philadelphia Business Journal reports: “On June 2, cyclists from around the world will line up near the top of Lyceum Avenue, a steep street known to race fans as the Manayunk Wall. The 12-mile circuit will run roughly from Manayunk to Lemon Hill in Fairmount. The men’s race will consist of 10 laps and the women’s race will include five laps.” The new race replaces the Philadelphia International Cycling Championship.
