$300K Bail Set for Local Blogger Who Allegedly Threatened Cops and Romney

Joshua Scott Albert, who raised eyebrows with his anti-restaurant site StaphMeal (see our December 2011 piece) and earned felony charges with Facebook pages allegedly soliciting the murder of Philly cops, D.A. Seth Williams, and Mitt Romney, has been ordered to stand trial. Williams testified earlier today that he felt Albert’s posts, which the blogger claims were satire, were not idle threats and warranted prosecution. [CBS Philly]
