Delfonics Singer Major Harris is Dead at 65

Major Harris, who helped create the “Philly sound” as a member of the Delfonics, died Friday at the age of 65. Harris left the group in 1974, and went on to have solo success with the hit song “Love Won’t Let Me Wait.” Harris died in a Virginia hospital where he was being treated for congestive heart and lung failure. Heaven is a little bit sexier tonight. [Associated Press]
