FEMA Says Towns Didn’t Properly Prepare for Floods

FEMA rates towns on how well they prepare for floods. Unsurprisingly, many of the towns that saw significant damage from Hurricane Sandy didn’t fare so well in FEMA’s analysis. On the ratings scale, one is the best and 10 is the worst. West Wildwood got a 10 and Atlantic City earned a nine. Seaside Heights and Queens don’t have a rating. USA Today has a map with accompanying ratings and pictures of damages.
