Philly Police Plan Fundraiser for Cop Who Punched Woman Following Puerto Rican Day Parade

On Sunday, October 28th, the Fraternal Order of Police are holding a fundraiser for former Lt. Jonathan Josey. Josey was suspended with intent to dismiss by Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey after a video of Josey punching a woman in the face at a Puerto Rican pride celebration popped up on YouTube and made international headlines. By now, you should all be well-versed on Josey and Aida Guzman—the woman he hit. The FOP has vowed to fight for Josey’s job and says it will provide him with a lawyer, should the D.A.’s office bring charges. [6 ABC]
