Teen Robbed Gas Station to Buy His Mom a Birthday Present… And Some Weed for Himself

An 18-year-old man Bethlehem man was arrested for robbing a gas station in July. The teen—who is also charged with a September armed robbery and kidnapping in Philly—supposedly told police that he robbed the gas station because he needed to buy his mom a birthday present and realized that he wouldn’t get paid until after it came and went. So, the teen held up the gas station and made off with $260, which makes complete sense because “Happy Belated!” is NOT an option when it come’s to Mom’s birthday. He used the cash to buy his mom a Kindle and spent the left over dough on some weed because, well, YOLO. [Morning Call]
