Men Say Philly Cops Forced Them to Watch Anti-Violence Film

Five men have sued the City of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Police Department, Captain Anthony Washington, and others after allegedly being forced to watch an anti-violence film under threat of arrest. The men claim they had just purchased cigarettes and were waiting for another man to join them when officers came up on them, detained them, and said that they were either going to attend an anti-violence event or face prosecution and fines for loitering.
