Saturday Night Live Opens With More Chris Christie Fat Jokes

The 38th season of Saturday Night Live premiered over the weekend. Seth MacFarlane—of Family Guy fame—hosted and Frank Ocean was the musical guest. Unsurprisingly, the show offered up some original, definitely-not-at-all-played-out cracks on Chris Christie’s weight. In the inevitable skit that mocked Clint Eastwood’s RNC chair routine, Bill Hader plays Eastwood who, while pretending that Christie is in the seat, says, “We’re going to need a bigger chair.” Also, in the Weekend Update segment, Chris Christie was compared to the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from the end of Ghostbusters.
