Thieves Burgling South Philly Homes Through Mail Slots

You’d better figure out a way to lock up your mail slot if you don’t want to get burgled. Apparently, thieves have been exploiting the humble mail slots of South Philly homes to get inside, making off with as much as $52,000 in goods in one case. No arrests have been made, and no finger prints have been matched, and there are few leads to speak of (Venom can probably help). Maybe we should just be happy that it took this long for someone to figure out the old mailslot trick. [Metro]
