Inquirer’s Schools Blog Nominated for Online Journalism Award


The Philadelphia Inquirer is a finalist for a 2012 Online Journalism Award handed out by the Online News Association. The Inky and education reporter Kristen Graham earned the nod for Topical Reporting, Large with their Philly School Files, which chronicles the goings on of the Philadelphia School District, its School Reform Commission, and the area’s Catholic schools. The New York Times blog FiveThirtyEight, CNN’s Beliefs Blog, and Voice of America’s Middle East Voices are also up for the award.
