Perelman Accuses Son. In the latest in the ongoing Perelman family feud, Raymond Perelman has accused his son Jeffrey of having Ruth Perelman’s death certificate altered to say that she lived in their Rittenhouse home and not in Florida. [Inquirer]

Murder-Suicide in Camden. Camden’s bloody summer continued very early on Wednesday when police responded to a woman who called 911 and barricaded herself in a home during a domestic dispute. When police eventually got inside, they discovered that the woman had stabbed herself to death, but not before decapitating her two-year-old son and placing his head in the freezer. [6 ABC]

Paul Ryan Talks Medicare, Business. The Republican vice presidential hopeful spoke to a crowd at the Helicopter Museum in West Chester and made an appearance at the Union League in Center City on Tuesday. He spoke about Medicare, business, and what it means to be a Catholic deer hunter. [Inquirer]

City Plans for Concert Crashers. The city is prepared for people to try to crash the gates of the Made in America festival on the Parkway over the Labor Day weekend. It’s probably ill-advised to try to sneak in, based on the fact that they intend to use a flurry of charges to prosecute any would-be crashers.
