Federal Court Rejects Appeal of $6.4 Billion PHL Expansion Project

Tinicum Township filed a petition for a review of the $6.4 billion expansion project planned for the Philadelphia International Airport. Tinicum’s petition urged the court to put a pin in the project, citing inadequate environmental analysis conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration. On Wednesday, a federal court of appeals judge read a decision stating that, “technical errors alleged by Tinicum do not render the FAA’s air quality analysis arbitrary or capricious.” [Philly.com]
