SRC Commissioner Pedro Ramos Slams Inquirer Editorial, Describes Financial “Tsunami” Facing the Philadelphia School District
School Reform Commission Chairman Pedro Ramos went on IQ 106.9 with Larry Mendte on Tuesday to discuss an editorial in the published in the Tuesday edition of the Inquirer. Ramos says that, while the Inquirer‘s news coverage of the ongoing problems facing the Philadelphia School District has been very good, the editorials, Tuesday’s in particular, have missed the mark. He goes on to describe the financial issues plaguing the district as a “tsunami” and says that the schools need $750 million dollars.
