Jersey Fines Casinos for Using Unshuffled Cards and Other Violations


Gaming officials in New Jersey have fined Bally’s and Trump Taj Mahal $200,000 for multiple violations. Bally’s Atlantic City was ordered to pay $105,000 for allowing an underage person to gamble, skimping on security staff, and allowing patrons on the self-exclusion list to gamble. Trump Taj Mahal was fined $91,000 for using unshuffled cards for more than three hours in a mini-baccarat game. Jersey also confiscated $4,000 of winnings from self-excluded gamblers at Borgata.
