NBC News Has the Audio Tape of Jerry Sandusky’s Adopted Son Admitting He was Abused by His Father

A few days into the trial of Jerry Sandusky, his adopted son Matt came forward to admit that he had supposedly lied to the grand jury during its investigation of Sandusky and had been abused by his father. NBC News has obtained an audio tape of Matt’s admission to police. In it, he describes attempting to escape from the Sandusky household and attempting suicide while he was allegedly being abused between the age of eight and 15. He doesn’t recall Jerry Sandusky engaging in anal or oral sex with him during the abuse. [NBC News]
