Jersey Wines Are as Good (or Better) Than French Ones, According to a Blind Tasting
A blind tasting in Princeton last week featured nine international judges who ranked three Jersey white wines—and a red from the Garden State—as the top four wines at the event. The results were so startling that one French judge wanted her scorecard back and the American judges asked that their analyses go unpublished. Though, a statistical analysis of the findings indicates that the results would be different if the tasting was conducted a second time. We’re going to go ahead and focus on the “Jersey wines are as good as French ones” part. We hate to say “we told you so,” but we told you so. [Atlantic Wire]
