Tenant Files Lawsuit Over Burst Pipes in Center City

Last week more than 250 residents of Center City One at Spruce and Juniper Streets were forced out of their condos due to burst pipes that flooded the building. A tenant has filed a lawsuit against the Camco Management Company, alleging that water standpipes were not frequently inspected and that the company failed to ensure that its staff was equipped and prepared to handle such an incident. The tenant and his lawyer have asked a judge to give the suit class-action status. [Daily News]
