Comcast Lets People Skype on Their Flatscreens

Comcast has rolled out a new service called Skype on Xfinity. For $10 a month, the service allows you to make and receive Skype messages in HD on your TV, send instant messages watch TV simultaneously, and travel back in time to give yourself a sports almanac so you can become the richest person in the world. Well, not that last part, but you get the idea. It’s important to mention, though, that the service launched for Comcast customers in Boston and Seattle. Customers in Atlanta, Augusta, Chicago, Detroit, Harrisburg, Indianapolis, Miami and Pittsburgh will have the service by the end of the week. What about Philly? What about Philly, indeed. [PC Mag]
