Jury Set to Deliberate Sabina Rose Trial

The prosecution and defense teams delivered their closing arguments to the six men and six women that make up the jury in the murder trial of Donte Johnson. Johnson is charged with stalking, beating, raping and killing Sabina Rose O’Donnell in June of 2010. His defense attorney argued against the validity of DNA evidence implicating his client, while the prosecutor’s argument focused on what he says Johnson took from Sabina Rose and the lack of remorse he’s demonstrated since. The case will be handed to a jury once Common Pleas Judge Glenn Bronson provides legal instructions. [Daily News]
