Hashbrowns and Sizzlis Spur Morning Wawa Brawl

A parolee allegedly tried to steal breakfast food from a Brookhaven Wawa this morning in front of a plain-clothed officer. Police report that the officer identified himself to the man and asked about the items the man hadn’t paid for. After denying he stole food, the man was placed under arrest and led to the store office. When he was told that a squad car was on its way, he made a break for it and a scuffle ensued that spilled out into the store. [NBC Philadelphia]
