Philly is known for a lot of things. We hate your sports teams, eat cheesesteaks and hoard cats. That, and apparently we’re well-cultured. Arthur Frommer—a prominent travel writer—heaps praise onto Philadelphia for its artistic relevance. He even writes, “Three imminent openings [Barnes Foundation, Rodin Museum, Van Gogh exhibit at PMA] of new art museums and museum exhibits will make Philadelphia the equal of any other U.S. city in the cultural field.” [Frommer’s]
