Cop Tased Girl in Pelvis, Faces Lawsuit

A police officer in Allentown has been named in a lawsuit alleging he unlawfully tasered a 14-year-old Dieruff High School student back in September. The lawsuit claims that officer Jason Ammary singled out the girl, pushed her against the side of a car, and held his forearm to her throat before tasering her twice in the pelvis. It also alleges he taunted her for “perceived socio-economic status.” The incident was captured by a city surveillance camera. [Daily News]
