City Council Passes Curfew Bill

Today City Council voted 16-1 to pass a bill that set new mandates for curfews and stiffer penalties for those in violation of the new rules. The bill was introduced after the wave of flash mob violence that the city had to handle over the summer. Also, the bill for paid sick-leave for city employees moved forward. [Daily News]
