10 Youths Found in Connection with Philly “Dungeon” Case. Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey spoke about the case last evening and indicated that six children and four teenagers were found to have been in the care of ringleader suspect Lisa Ann Weston. The youths range in age from 2 to 19. The group includes Weston’s 19-year-old niece who was reported missing in 2009 and two children that may belong to one of the adult victims rescued over the weekend. They showed signs of malnutrition and may have been with Weston throughout her migration through Florida, Texas and Virginia. [Inquirer]

Flyers Trounce Senators. The Flyers took home another win by a convincing score of 7-2 over Ottawa last night. Rookies Sean Couturier and Harry Zolnierczyk netted the first goals of their careers and stars JVR and Claude Giroux added to their goal totals as well. [The 700 Level]

Marine Sergeant Charged With Stealing From Base. It has been alleged that a Marine sergeant stole $760,000 worth of metal, equipment and supplies from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Willow Grove. [6 ABC]

State Close to Harrisburg Takeover. A bill passed the state Senate yesterday and is expected to pass the House today to wind up on Governor Corbett’s desk that would allow him to appoint a receiver to take over decision making for the financially addled capital city. [CBS 3]

Police Arrest Six in Atlantic City Kidnapping, Murder. In March a 20-year-old woman was kidnapped from an Atlantic City house and wasn’t found until her body turned up in the Schuylkill. Yesterday, authorities arrested six people in connection with her kidnapping and murder. [FOX 29]

Philadelphia Film Festival Starts Tomorrow. The festival runs from October 20th to November 3rd. It opens with Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner Like Crazy and continues for two weeks with contests, films and panels. [Inquirer]
