Gayborhood Games Winners

The competition was fierce, especially among the drag acts this weekend

If you missed the Gayborhood Games this weekend at Voyeur, we have the complete list of winners. Not only was the competition heated, but there was even a tie among drag acts and the judges had to make a final decision. Would it be RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Mimi Imfurst – who did a hilarious music mash-up complete with a couple of lines from the movie Precious – a local queen like Porcelain, Tammy Faymous or Navaya Shay, or the gal from out of town – Poison?

We can attest that Tommy, one of our favorite bartenders from the Venture Inn, made a delicious drink just in time for the fall weather. We won’t say the name he gave it, but we think it tasted like “roasted marshmallows.”

And Steve Miller-Miller definitely pushed some buttons with his comedy. Not only did he try out some wild material, but he took a chance, proving that pushing boundaries also pushes you ahead of the competition. It also goes to show that even the Gayborhood can handle some gay jokes sometimes.

Brittany Lynn, well, she proved that in spades. As the hostess with the mostess who opened up with Gaga’s “You and I” with some minor lyric changes, she was truly the highlight of the show.

And the winners are:

Outstanding Drag: Poison
Outstanding Comedian: Steve Miller-Miller
Outstanding Vocalist: Steve McManus
Outstanding Chef/Baker: Philly Cup Cake
Outstanding Bartender: Tommy from Venture Inn
