Carl Lewis Taken Off Jersey State Senate Ballot

Federal judge will revist the issue Friday

Olympic gold medal-winner Carl Lewis is trying to run for a seat in the New Jersey State Senate. Lewis—who grew up and currently coaches in Willingboro—wants his name on the ballot in Burlington County’s November election. Although he’s owned property in Jersey for a while, he hadn’t registered to vote there until launching his campaign in April of this year. A judge will rule on the issue Friday. [Inquirer]
