2011-12 season should be saved by Monday's vote
The Philadelphia Eagles will have a 2011-12 season—pending an 11 A.M. conference call. It is being reported that the conference call is merely a formality following an agreement reached overnight. A new collective bargaining agreement will not be able to be reached until after the settlement passes and the players re-certify as a union. All legalese aside—we’re going to have a football season.
