When the Fightins opened up a three-game “away” series in Washington with a 5-4 victory yesterday, throngs of Phillies fans were there to cheer with signs, boos, chants—all wearing their finest gear. Oddly enough, not everyone loved our enthusiastic turnout … or our “buttocks-hugging” pants, as this Nats fan’s blog illustrates. Note that he also mentions our “bare-chested fans.” Seriously.
