Avid Mets fan and N.J. guv Chris Christie was in attendance at Sunday’s game against the Phillies when the crowds starting chanting “U-S-A! U-S-A!” in response to the news that Osama bin Laden had been killed. This came as no surprise to Christie who had received a message from Homeland Security Director Janet Napolitano alerting him of the news per a directive from President Obama who “thought the guv should know ahead of time, given the number of New Jerseyans killed on Sept. 11.” [Christie Chronicles]
