“All My Children” and “One Life to Live” Canceled

Those who always worried Susan Lucci might fade away at any moment should be prepared for the end. ABC has announced they are done with “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” whose TV-land towns were supposedly based on Bryn Mawr and Ardmore, respectively. The Scoop’s never even seen either of these afternoon delights, but a quick YouTube search (see video) does make him wonder why a network is canceling a show that pretty much looks like it invented “Jersey Shore.”
