AV Club Discourages The Sartorialist From Going Anywhere in The Entire City

Apparently, there is literally no where in the city where people dress well

As the Scoop mentioned yesterday, fashion photog Scott Schuman (better known as The Sartorialist) is heading to Philly to take some street snaps of our local fashion scene. Schuman, unfamiliar with Philadelphia, solicited suggestions from his commenters—who named everything from South Street to Manayunk to NoLibs. In a hipper-than-thou attempt at humor, the AV Club takes each suggestion and explains why it’s stupid. (For example: “Recommending that Shuman go to South Street is like recommending that a hardcore vinyl collector might want to check out the Hard Rock Cafe.”) Which begs the question: If he shouldn’t go to Rittenhouse, NoLibs, Old City, South Street, the Navy Yard, Walnut Street, Main Street, Manayunk, Roxborough, West Philly, University City, Temple, the Art Museum, Independence Hall, Fishtown, Kensington, or Passyunk Avenue, where exactly should he go?  [AV Club Philly]
