News You Don’t Need: Andrew Dice Clay Coming To Atlantic City

In case the Charlie Sheen show just ain't enough for you

Just received a press release from the folks down at The Tropicana who would like you to know that Andrew Dice Clay, the potty-mouthed comic who was famous way back in the 80s, will be performing there on Saturday, July 30th. But if his show at the Trop is anything like the admittedly sold out one I attended at the Borgata in 2008, I would advise you to be doing something else on April 9th at noon when tickets — priced from $35-$65 — go on sale. Here’s my review of his lackluster Borgata show.

Meanwhile, seats are still available for the Charlie Sheen LIVE: My Violent Torpedo of Truth mess at the Taj on April 16th, and Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the average StubHub price for the tour has plummeted from $80 to $50 after the whole Saturday night disaster. Listed Ticketmaster prices for the A.C. show range from $90 to $130, though a search this afternoon yielded only side view seats at $130. By comparison, you can pick up better seats for less than $100 on StubHub. Winning!
