Kitchens You’ll Covet: French Country

Design-builder Kevin Ritter of Timeless Kitchen creates eat-in spaces that fit beautifully into converted Brandywine barns, rustic Bucks County country homes and, it turns out, newer Main Line houses featuring farmhouse antique and reproduction furnishings — especially when those furnishings are made by Ritter’s Chester County-based father, Bryce. “Bryce Ritter did almost all of the pieces in our living room and dining room,” says homeowner Deb Kurucz. “He told me that when I was ready, he had just the person to do my kitchen.” To make the formerly all-white space work with both his client’s French Country tastes and Kurucz’s busy family of five, Kevin added cabinetry and pieces with patina, creating a streamlined space that’s both warm and bright.
