Rent It: Iron Man 2 (PG-13, 2010). This not-quite-as-successful, but still fun, sequel stars a bombastic Robert Downey, Jr. and an equally wonderful Gwyneth Paltrow. Their overlapping, multi-conversational banter evokes great moments of ’40s movie comedies. [Make sure you continue watching through the closing credits.] My Grade: A-

Queue It: Manchurian Candidate (PG-13, 1962). Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, Janet Leigh, and Angela Lansbury star in this perfect and trippy Communist classic. Easily one of my favorite movies of all time. My Grade: A+
