Zucker to Leave NBC After Comcast Takes Over. The New York Post reports that NBC honcho Jeff Zucker will resign within a few months of Comcast officially taking over the company in 2011, walking away with more than $30 million. [NY Post]

Bob Brady Wants to Save Philly One Parade at a Time. The Congressman, Democratic boss and shadow mayor (see our recent “Honey, I Shrunk the Mayor”) will announce today the creation of the Greater Philadelphia Traditions Fund, a nonprofit that will raise money that helps the Mummers and other groups pay for fees imposed by the city. Stuck in Traffic? Blame Road Construction Screw-ups. They’re doing extra work on the South Street Bridge project and around 30th Street Station thanks, in part, to flubbed work. [Inquirer]

City Budget Trouble: It’s Getting Worse. Thanks to smaller-than-anticipated tax revenues, the city will get $13.5 million less than already anticipated. Budget Director Stephen Agostini sent a letter to department heads Friday, announcing an immediate spending freeze on supplies and equipment, as well as a 2 percent cut in all city departments in the coming budget year.
