What To Do Tonight

Victor's Picks for Thursday: Freeze, cheese, and the Beatles (sort of)

It’s April Fool’s Day, which means that 1000+ people may or may not show up at 30th Street Station tonight to freeze in place. It also means that National Grilled Cheese Month is underway, so hit up the Pop Shop, Jones, or the Royal Tavern for some cheesy goodness. Nada Surf at the Church is sold out, the folkadelic Megafaun at Johnny Brenda’s is not, while Philly’s own Fooling April is at World Cafe Live presenting a little album called Abbey Road in its entirety. And if you’re not still feeling the effects of last night’s Martini Madness at the Constitution Center, head over to the P&K tonight for their rye (no, not the bread) cocktail party.
