This Thursday, Neiman Marcus in King of Prussia is hosting a cocktail party and fashion show to benefit the non-profit started by Philadelphia couple Kipp and Becky Fawcett, HelpUsAdopt.org. The organization offers grants to families — regardless of race, religion, marital status, gender, or sexuality — battling the suffocating costs of adoption. John Wind/Maximal Art Limited Edition Pieces to Benefit AIDS
Decades ago, the John Wind AIDS Jewelry Project raised boatloads of money to benefit AIDS foundations — and now the local designer has done it again. Fifty percent of the profits from his two limited-edition pieces, locally available at Scarlett Alley in Old City, Joan Shepp in Rittenhouse, and JimmyStyle in South Philly, will go to local AIDS organizations ActionAIDS and Mazzoni Center.
