Tastes: Dining Out: Where We Are Eating: Parker’s Prime Steakhouse
Asian steakhouses aren’t exactly thick on the ground in the restaurant world, but this Delco spot from Win Signature Restaurants, of suburban eateries like Azie and Mikado proves a fine introduction to the concept. The decor is very Mad Men, the 120 bottle wine list is coded to make steak or sushi pairings easy, and the sushi sampler bodes well for the entire fish side of the menu. The aioli-drenched shrimp tempura and gingery Wagyu carpaccio appetizers were nearly worth the trip on their own, while the meltingly rare cut of Kobe had us ready to order seconds.
Insider tip: Classic steakhouse sides like garlic mashed potatoes come à la carte and sized to share.
