So, I’ve admittedly always been a little bit afraid of animal prints. They always seemed loud, or something, and that’s not usually my style. But lately they’ve been creeping back up — and I’m really starting to enjoy some of them. There’s leopard, there’s zebra, there’s cheetah — and even though tortoise isn’t exactly a part of that family, I’ve certainly dipped my toe into these waters with a tame pair of tortoise patent leather flats, which is an easy way for anyone to try this particular trend on for size. This fall, you really can take animal prints in whatever dose works for you — and that’s a trend I can get behind.
