Style Report: More Weekend Sales; A Special Visit to Macys
I finally checked out the new Home store on the 3rd floor of the Center City Macy’s. It rocks. It’s bright and modern and clean and has everything city dwellers need: Luggage, china, gifts, a walls of towels, small appliances (everything from mixers to flat irons), great bedding, helpful staff and a whole section of cute-as-can-be Martha Stewart kitchen stuff. Check it out! (And don’t miss the adorable FAO Schwartz toy department in the kids section … they have big stuffed animals, smart toys and great little stocking stuffers.)
There’s some last-minute weekend holiday sales that I’m getting over the transom that I’m happy to share with you. Town Home is offering 30-percent off everything in the store (except jewelry) this weekend; locally based little dude clothing line Wonderboy is having a rare warehouse sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shirts, tees, sweaters, jackets and more for boys 6-months to size 10 will be up to 70-percent off; Pileggi Boutique (our Best Of City Boutique) is reducing all goods by up to 30 percent for the next few weeks. And starting November 30th, they’ll be open on Sundays. Bernie Robbins is also running a 50-percent off sale on select merchandise in all of their stores this weekend.
Wiseley Jewelers in Haddonfield is having a trunk show at their Judith Ripka boutique this weekend. Brian Ripka will be on hand as will Judith’s sparkly creations. Stop by from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the preview.
