Taste: The Biz: Starr in NY Mag


When Stephen Starr, who spent $26 million transplanting Buddakan and Morimoto to Manhattan, was named Zagat's “NYC Restaurateur of the Year” back in mid-October, the silence in the New York press was deafening. Now, in its December 4th issue, New York magazine makes nice with a softball Q&A. Starr may not want to start quoting himself in his own ads, though: “I’m sick of restaurant food. I can’t enjoy myself in my restaurants.”
