During “Philly Loves Rocky Week” we pay tribute to the fame the series has given to the city of Philly — Art Museum steps included.

Wednesday, September 6th: Boxing Exhibition, JFK Plaza (LOVE Park); noon to 2 p.m. Twelve three-round boxing matches — professional, amateur and youth.

Thursday, September 7th: Rocky/Adrian Look-A-Like Contest, JFK Plaza (LOVE Park); noon to 2 p.m. Contestants are eligible for a Philly overnight hotel package, tickets to the Philly premiere of Rocky Balboa, and a chance to meet Stallone himself.

Friday, September 8th: Philadelphia Art Museum vicinity, Benjamin Franklin Parkway; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Includes Rocky statue dedication at the Art Museum with speakers Mayor John F. Street and Sly Stallone at 6 p.m. and outdoor movie screening of the original Academy Award-winning Rocky near the Art Museum at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, September 9th: Hero Thrill Show and Carnival, near the Wachovia Spectrum; noon to 9 p.m.
