Philly Pride Logo Contest

Philly Pride is asking creative Philadelphians to design a logo for this year’s gay pride theme “Pride Around the World.”  The prize for the best logo – as judged by a panel of gay community leaders and Philly Pride members – is $200 and either a ride on the Grand Marshal float or a spot as judge at the Fifth Street reviewing stand during the annual festivities June 12.

The deadline for submission has been extended until March 8.

Here are the rules:

Contestants cannot be Philly Pride coordinators or on the committee. You also cannot be a professional graphic designer and cannot (obviously) duplicate any other organization’s logo.

You must submit a hard copy of your design, as well as an image on disc as a .jpeg to 252 S. 12th St., No. 1, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
