LGBTQ Event of the Week: Queer Bodies

Plus other awesome events worthy of your attendance.

Queer Bodies is on Sunday, June 3rd, at bahdeebahdu.

This week’s LGBTQ event of the week is Queer Bodies. Sponsored by the Office of LGBT Affairs and First Person Arts, this free workshop we will focus on the stories of LGBTQ individuals “who have been historically forgotten by traditional beauty standards.” Guests will be taught how to write a personal narrative that centers trans, fat, and disabled people. After the workshop, First Person Arts will invite ten people to participate as featured storytellers in a show to be held later in the month. The event kicks off on Sunday, June 3rd, at 1 p.m. at bahdeebahdu, 1522 North American Street. TICKETS
