    This week at Tabu drag queen Ariel Versace hosts Chaos in Wonderland, which, as the name suggests, is an evening of twisted, cross-dressing performances inspired by Alice in Wonderland. The cast includes Satine Harlow, Sutton Fearce and Ladie Geisha.

  • At William Way, Martha Graham Cracker hosts an LGBT-themed Quizzo Cabaret to benefit Philly’s Friend Select School’s LGBT scholarship and the Attic Youth Center’s efforts to provide safe-space and community-building opportunities for LGBT youth. More info here.
  • Philly Improv Theater is hosting DTF Darryl and Timaree Fun House, a hilarious sex ed/comedy/game show all rolled up in an hour of laughs and education from Dr. Timaree (sex educator) and comedian Darryl Charles, and guest appearances by R. Eric Thomas and Alex Gross. This is a new spin on getting DTF.

SATURDAY

  • Butch Cordora’s weekly poker night at Boxers PHL, Bluffin’ With Butch,” has been such a surprising hit that he’s starting a whole new day of card-tossin’ and poker-facing on Saturdays. The first one starts this week at 2 p.m., but show up an hour earlier for his Texas Hold ‘Em tutorial.
  • Stimulus’s monthly girl party, Back 2 Basics, turns two years old this week, with a big ol’ girl-crazy bash at Tabu. DJ Niilo will be spinning as you enjoy all kinds of drink specials and rubbing shoulders with Philly’s hottest lady-loving ladies.
  • Heads up, Britney lovers: The Faux Real Orchestra is hosting The Britney Prophecy, a Brit-themed evening at Voyeur with drag performances and re-imagined versions of the pop princess’s songs. Talent includes Mimi Imfurst, Eric Jaffe, Navaya Shay (of course) and Cleo Phatra.
  • Celebrate Venture Inn old-school dance party Nitty Gritty’s 2-year anniversary, complete with a midnight dance contest judged by ROBOLUX 8000.
  • Pissi Myles is already moving on from her monthly variety show Lipschtick, but not before a big ol’ party. To celebrate, she’s bringing in queens from Philly and NYC, like Dusty Ray Bottoms, Anita Manhattan, Eric Jaffe and Mistor Fahrenheit. Should be quite the schindig.
  • Join the Bingo Verifying Divas of GayBINGO! host a pre-Golden Globes Party. This dynamite red carpet event isn’t complete without gay Bingo to make the commercial breaks go by faster. I wonder which queen will be voted best dressed?

SUNDAY

  • Hit up Tavern on Camac for Showtunes Sunday, where bartender Michael Raz and VJ Chris Bretz host an evening of sing-alongs in the Ascend Lounge. Bretz will play most any song you want to hear on four large-screen TVs, and Tavern’s new wall projection. Starts at 9 p.m.
