Weekend Roundup: Wake Me Up Before You IndiGoGo, Porn Star Hunter Vance at Icandy, and More

We told you about it before: William Way’s Indigogo: Queer Funhouse & Dance Extravaganza is one of the biggest, fiercest, and queerest dance parties of the year. And it’s all for a good cause.

Eleven Philly party producers are teaming up to bring you 10 DJs, and four different dancefloors rife with gogo boys and girls, a photobooth, body painters, and more. A few of the party styles that you’ll be seeing are: 2014 Best of Philly winner Stimulus, the always-sexy NSFW Dance Party, Tabu’s newest Latin dance party Candela Sabados, and PhillyGayCalendar’s Speedo-licious Boys of Summer. There will also be appearances by porn star/sex educator Colby Keller (swoon!), Cirque Manikk, The Radical Faeries of Philadelphia, and more.

Underground Arts will be popping this Saturday as Indigogo’s eleganza extravaganza hits the city. You really don’t want to miss it. Saturday, July 26th, 10 p.m.-3 a.m., $10 (in advance), $20 (after 11 p.m.), Underground Arts, 1200 Callowhill Street.

FRIDAY

  La Cage Aux Beach kicks off its July edition this Friday with drag queens Shelita Buffet, Rosetta Stone, and the incomparable Cleo Phatra.

• Calling all creatures of the night: Come together for a unique Rocky Horror Picture Show experience called, “Rocky Horror Saved My Life.” Enjoy a live viewing and an opportunity to talk about what the cult classic means to you.
• The Eric Jaffe Show at Tavern On Camac—led by ukelele-wizard Eric Jaffe—features a boatload of Philadelphia talent, including Larisa Bunch, Pissi Myles, and Lauren Cohen. The night will also serve as a fundraiser for The Attic Youth Center.
• The only things hotter than this weather right now are the bears at Happy Bear, the grittiest, hairiest happy hour in town.
• DJ Deejay will be serving up ’90s nostalgia in the form of boy bands, girl groups, pop, hip-hop, and much more at the Barbary’s ’90s Party.
• Heads up, culture hounds: Bearded Ladies Cabaret’s Andy: A Popera, and Koresh Dance Company’s Come Together Dance Festival continue through the weekend.

SATURDAY

  Girl power will be in full-swing at Tabu for Divas Live! a late-night show featuring 10 lady-powerhouse singers that will sang the house down.

• People of all communities, groups, and styles are welcome to celebrate at the Super Dope South Philly House Party.
• Want to meet a porn star in person? Here’s your chance! Pegasus porn star Hunter Vance will be coming to Icandy to meet and greet, sign autographs, and dance the night away.
• Go behind the beard at the Weird Beard Revue, the all-male burlesque troupe that embraces the whiskers.
• Venture Inn hosts Disco 7’76: Abbarama.
• DJ DIIV will rock Making Time at Voyeur.
