GIVEAWAY: Win Tickets to the Attic Youth Center’s 20th Anniversary Gala [UPDATED]

The Attic Youth Center (AYC), Philly’s only organization that exclusively serves the city’s LGBTQ youth, is turning the big 2-0 this year, and its celebrating with a glittering fundraiser gala. Themed “Unlocking the Future,” the evening will include dinner, cocktails, and a big-name headliner: Alex Newell, who you may recognize as trans diva Unique on Glee. Along with singing a few songs, Newell will be presented with AYC’s OK2BU Role Model Award.

The evening is sure to be one to remember, and we’d like to give two of our readers a chance to check it out. We have a pair of tickets available, valued at $175 each.

Since it’s such a big prize, I want to make this a little trickier. To win, be the SECOND person to email jmiddleton@phillymag.com with the correct answer to this question:

In an interview I did with Newell this week (stay tuned!), the actor told me his Broadway dream role would be:

a. Matron Mama Morton in Chicago

b. Pippin in Pippin

c. Effie in Dreamgirls

d. Rizzo in Grease

The Attic Youth Center’s 20th Anniversary Gala takes place at the Crystal Tea Room on Sat., Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. (VIP reception) or 7 p.m. (regular admission). For more information and ticket links, click here. All sales benefit AYC.

UPDATE [11/14/2013]: Alex Newell cancels his appearance at the Attic Youth Center Gala. Details here.
