WATCH: Aiden James Covers Whitney Houston
The Philly singer-songwriter releases a video of his version of Nippy's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody."
For his birthday last year, Philly singer-songwriter Aiden James gifted us an EP of his cover of Whitney Houston’s 1987 hit “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me),” and this week he released a video to match. His version is a slowed-down, more reflective take on Whitney’s more-danceable track, one that, in the video description, he says he used to sing along to at age four with a hair brush. We’ve all been there, right?
The video was filmed in New York and produced by James’s Songster Sounds Records. Check it out along with Whitney’s video below.
