7 Hot Gay Instagram Feeds

Sure, puppies and a delicious plate of what’s for dinner are ingredients for a great photo, but let’s face it, one too many shots of Toto can make for an awfully snoozy cruise down your Instagram feed. To help  you spice things up, I spent some time vetting users and hashtags to come up with a list of gay Instagramers who post eye-candy-worthy shots almost daily. There are some with tens of thousands of followers and a few with a lot less; some who post photos of themselves and some who pull images from the web. Whatever the case, they’re all gonna make you wanna tap open that Instagram app a lot more often.

Twenty-three-year-old Rene (@blackandwhite_jsl) started his Instagram feed as a place to post landscape-photography images, but one morning, he says, he randomly posted a pic of “a cute guy getting out of bed and the picture got 200 likes. … One user said to me, ‘I love your pictures but could you just post guys?,’ and so I did.” He finds all of his images on the web and, in some cases, he cultivates relationships with some of the models, including Scott Buker (above), who grant him access to their photos. So what does Rene look for in a good shot? “Great eyes, the right amount of abs and V-lines and, weirdly enough, the right amount of clothing. I know everyone wants to see the important bits but I must restrain myself or I could get flagged.” Every one of his photos is enhanced with a black-and-white filter, giving the image an artsier touch not seen in most hunky-men feeds.

Unlike Rene, photographer Miguel Adrien Santos (@mig_hell) posts his own photos, whether it be a steamy shirtless pic of himself or an adorable one of him and his pooch. He lives in Paris, so scrolling through his images also offers a glimpse of what it’s like to be young and living in the City of Love and Lights. Le sexy!
